Loofah Kitchen Sponges
Two plastic-free dish sponge shapes cut from dense loofah fibre — sizes, pack options and what you can honestly print on the pack.

What the kitchen range covers
Two loofah dish sponges — a teardrop shape and a rectangle — each in two sizes, cut from dense kitchen-grade fibre with a cord for hanging to dry. They replace the plastic kitchen sponge directly, and because they are replaced often, they are the most reordered item in a plastic-free range. MOQ 100 pcs per SKU.

Teardrop or rectangle?
Choose the teardrop for
- The teardrop: corners of pots, jars and bottles; a shape that looks different on the shelf.
- Sets where the cord doubles as a display hook.
Choose the rectangle for
- The rectangle: the like-for-like swap for the yellow sponge, easiest to explain in a listing.
- Flat multi-packs and subscription boxes.
Many buyers stock both under one pack design, so the customer can pick a shape and the retailer keeps one artwork file.
What to say on the pack — and what not to
| Statement | Can you use it? |
|---|---|
| “Natural loofah fibre” | Yes — that is the material. |
| “Plastic-free sponge” | For the sponge itself, yes. The cord and the pack need checking separately. |
| “Scratch-free on all pans” | No. We have not tested every coating. Advise a test on a small area. |
| “Lasts 3 months” | No. It depends on use and drying. Use care guidance instead. |
| “Compostable” | Only with evidence for your market and a clear instruction to remove the cord first. |
Rinse after use, squeeze out the water and hang to dry in an airy place between uses. Replace the item when the fibre starts to break up, stays damp or smells musty. Remove any non-fibre parts — fabric backing, cord, wooden handle, label — before disposing of the fibre.

Buyer questions
How is a loofah dish sponge different from a bath sponge?
The kitchen sponges use denser fibre for scrubbing and have no fabric backing, only a hanging cord. Bath items are softer and usually sewn to fabric.
Can I sell them in multi-packs?
Yes. Tell us the count and pack format; both are confirmed on a sample with your artwork before production.
