Loofah Bath Glove
A loofah exfoliating glove in two sizes, with the fibre sewn onto a fabric backing so it stays on the hand in the shower. Sizes, components and the checks we run are below — before you request a sample.
What it is
The bath glove is a flat pad of loofah fibre sewn onto a fabric backing and shaped to slip over the hand. The fibre side does the work; the fabric side holds the glove in place when the hand is soapy. It is the format most shoppers already recognise from the shower aisle, which makes it the easiest first SKU to list.
- Two sizes: S suits a smaller hand and travel or gift kits; L is the everyday adult size.
- The fabric backing is a separate component. If you print “100% loofah” on the pack, it must describe the fibre, not the whole glove.
- Stitching along the edge is the part that fails first in daily use, so it is checked on every piece at packing.

Is it the right SKU for your range?
Suitable for
- An eco or marketplace range that needs one easy-to-explain first SKU.
- Bundles with the oval scrubber or droplet sponge.
- Retail packs with a kraft sleeve or hang tag.
Less suitable when
- The pack must say “single material” — the glove has a fabric backing.
- The buyer wants a soft pouf texture; loofah is firmer until wet.
- The target is a children’s range with a skin-benefit claim you cannot support.

- Confirm terms and documents
Action: Name the destination, the Incoterm with its named place, and the certificates your customs entry needs.
Result: A shipment booked with its paperwork rather than chasing it after arrival.

Branding and packaging
Labels, hang tags, kraft sleeves, printed boxes, bundle sets and barcodes are available. The minimum for printed packaging depends on the pack format and print method and is confirmed in the quote, together with a mockup for approval before production.

- Your barcode (including an Amazon FNSKU) can be applied before packing.
- Plastic-free packs are possible, but the whole pack has to be specified — see components and plastic-free packs.

Quality checks on this item
- Stitching along the edge and at the cuff, piece by piece.
- Size against the approved sample, S and L measured separately.
- Colour within the agreed range; brown spots and discoloured fibre removed.
- Odour and mould check before bagging.
Moisture is checked with a moisture meter on every batch and must read 12% or below before packing. Ask for the reading filed against your lot.

Care text you can print
Rinse after use, squeeze out the water and hang to dry in an airy place between uses. Replace the item when the fibre starts to break up, stays damp or smells musty. Remove any non-fibre parts — fabric backing, cord, wooden handle, label — before disposing of the fibre.
Avoid giving a lifespan in days or weeks on the pack. How long loofah lasts depends on use and drying, not on the product alone. What to write instead.

Which size should I list first?
Most first orders use L as the main listing and add S only if a travel, gift or smaller-hand variant is planned. Order a sample of each and try them on before deciding.
Is the glove 100% loofah?
The fibre is 100% loofah; the glove is not, because the backing is fabric. Describe the components separately on the pack.
Can I get samples of this exact item?
Yes. Up to 3 free samples per request; you cover the courier. Ask for the size and packaging you intend to sell, so the sample matches the order.
Are the photos and sizes a binding specification?
No. Photos show the range and natural variation. The approved sample and the purchase-order specification define what is supplied.
